After the fabulousPride and Prejudice and Zombies , I decided to purchase this book for my Kindle. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. The story of Emma is still there in all its "Oh dear Lord, someone slap that girl" glory, but the addition of the werewolves doesn't make the story delightfully bizarre, as inP & P & Z . Not as good as Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, basically just Emma (not my favourite Austen novel at the best of times)with some random lycanthropy thrown in. I really cannot think of any reason why I would recommend this to anyone - disappointed.

This book was almost painful to read. Adam Rann's rewriting of Emma was cumbersome, and lacked the wit of Jane Austen's original. The werewolf plotline was almost nonexistant, and what was included was insipid. I'd give it one star, but for the original bits of Jane Austen that remain.
