    4½★The first 2/3 of this book were intriguing. The story moved quickly, flowed nicely and seemed to be the beginning of a great story. But, the ending was not a let down exactly, but just missing something. I would love to read the add'l sisters' stories, but seems no book 2 has been written. Although years have passed since this one came out, I'm hoping Wilder will eventually return to the story of the Angelov sisters.The story made me think of the movie "Practical Magic", only in that the [...]

    Winter's Daughter was good. I liked Synammon & Matt and thought they made a pretty good couple. The story was well-written, but I felt that the beginning of the book was better than the end. It started to drag and once it was revealed who killed Synammon's mother, I wasn't surprised and I almost didn't care. It took too long to wrap up, I guess.     I actually love this book I really need that this fantastic author write the next books of the series because is a really good a creative story and a want to read the end of it
