It's not always that someone picks a thought to write a book on another author Andrew Donkin has done a great job and the book definitely provides an insight into Roald Dahl's personal life The book is also picturesque and provides a light read Overall after a long time, this book made me smile and also ponder on the surprises that life throws

Read with my 7 and 6 yo daughters. We loved learning about one of our favourite authors and the inspirations behind some of his most famous stories!
