This book does ask an interesting question: when two people are attracted to each other, what kind of compromises can they make for their love (or, in this case, their teenage infatuation)? In these characters' particular case, the question is "will Chloe do everything a boy asks her to do, from dressing differently to dumping her friend, and from dropping her passions to violating her father's rules, just because this guy kind of makes her feel the way she feels when she thinks about Rhett Butl [...]

Love Me, Love my Broccoli is an entertaining YA fiction book that will be especially welcomed by middle-to-junior high school aged vegetarians.
