    Oh dear. Not written very well, certainly not very authentic despite its use of NAI language; it just does not feel 'real'. There are many uses of NAI language, but it is clunky, inelegantly done. It's evident from the first the Alp speaks English; his command of English is not what you'd expect from an illiterate NAI:"You you cannot do that! I have done nothing to you!"     2 PlatypiresI'm giving up on this book at 10%. I should have downloaded the sample before I borrowed it. The writing style is really mediocre and I just do not want to waste my time. It's a lot of telling and not enough showing. The book also needs an editor. I just couldn't get into it. I would not recommend this book.

    Blah. It's so similar to a much better written version by another author based on the real life of Pioneer woman. I ca not remember the title right now but it is vastly better. Also, M. B. Tosi's Crimson Path of Honor is better.
