    I cannot recommend this collection enough for Lovecraft fans! Kudos to editor/author H. David Blalock who put together an anthology of intelligently written and atmospheric stories. This collection is literate, entertaining and worthy of every penny I spent. Five enthusiastic stars.

    Now up front, I have to admit, I am a sucker for anything Lovecraft. Most of the time, I would rather read a bad Lovecraftian story than even a good story in another genre. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that “Idolaters of Cthulhu” is not just another Lovecraft derivation. It was truly excellent all on its own. Credit goes to Albion Press and H David Blalock for editing. A collection that focuses on the everyday people in a Mythos story is just brilliant. Those who willing worsh [...]

    Gotta be honest, I'm new to Lovecraft. I haven't read much, though I will say, I probably will read more after this collection of stories. It was a very well done collection, and I read through it pretty quickly. I will be picking up other stories in this world soon!I have been in the mood for some horror themed novels, and when this one popped up for review, I decided to give it a try.
