This story started out great, with an exciting rescue of the heroine, Chaya Dane, a government agent, from terrorists in Iraq, by the hero Natches Mackey, a marine sniper. The story then shifts to five years later, and we learn what the H/H have been up to in those five years, and how they forged a deep connection all those years ago and never got over each other. Chaya now works as an agent for Homeland Security, and she's come to Natches's hometown of Somerset, Kentucky to tie up some loose en [...]

Reviewed for queuemyreview; book release August 2008Why are we women so fascinated with bad boys? Is it because they’re uber-Alpha, uncontrollable, and so sexy they make our back teeth ache? Ok, maybe that’s just me…but, OH my goodness. Lora Leigh fans will be so delighted to have her naughty boys back in “Nauti Dreams”, book three in her ‘Nauti’ trilogy. She doesn’t disappoint as she turns up the heat with a hero and heroine tormented by painful pasts and haunted by a shared tra [...]

I'm rather surprised that of the first three books in this series, this one is my favorite. After reading the first book, I thought Natches' story would be my least favorite because I didn't like him in the first book. So it was a nice surprise how much I liked this book. Series Note:This series should be read in order.Summary:Natches Mackay had a horrible childhood with an evil abusive father. He took refuge in his close bond with his 2 cousins (Rowdy & Dawg) and his uncle. He later joined [...]

Okay for fear of being tarred and feathered I have to be honest and say I didn't like this book as well as the previous two. This is very unlike me. As ya'll know, like most of my friends here, I am a huge fan of Lora's, but well I really had a hard time getting into this book.I carried it with me to read while I had breaks at work. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to either A: throw the book across the room or B: do paperwork (I HATE PAPERWORK) instead of continue to read it. I thought [...]

WOW!!! Of all the Nauti Biys Trilogy this is my favorite!!! Natches has been thru hell and back a couple of times first with his father and then in Iraq as a Marine sniper. In Iraq is where he meets Chaya a operative with the Department of Homeland Security. If I go into too much I will be giving away the whole story but it is worth the read. I just love happy endings

Quote:The Nauti Boys were thick as thieves, it was said. Their loyalty was to each other and to family alone. The very first thing that inexplicitly drew me to the Nauti series was that mystifying bond between those MacKay men that said: “I’ll have your back at all times.” Rowdy, Dawg and Natches shared a youth together, shared their first time and every woman after that. At first I was given an easy mix of sultry sex, alluring romance and a suspenseful note in Nauti Boy but with book two, [...]

The background premise of the story is quite laughable, such a typically cheesy Hollywood b-movie plot : home-grown renegades hoping to launch a revolution in America with the help of Arab terrorists. I didn't mind the psycho killers on the loose in the previous two L.L. books. This particular subplot is too incredulous to forgive. What put me off more than anything was the white-trash characterisations; I wasn't sure if they were intentional (satirical) or not. Even Chaya knows the guys are "thi [...]

I almost passed over this book because of the silly title, but I'm glad I didn't let that deter me. "Nauti Dreams" is a double whammy of sexual and criminal suspense, with two very compelling lead characters. Chaya Dane and Natches MacKay have one dark history and enough baggage between them to impede any relationship. But they overcome that as they confront a terrorist presence in a small Kentucky town that takes them right back to the beginning, when Chaya was a special agent working in Iraq a [...]

This was Lora Leigh at her best. I loved this series and this is either a 2nd or 3rd reread for me. After meeting Natches in Nauti Boy and Nauti Nights and Chaya in Nauti Nights you really had no idea where there story would go. I absolutely loved the first chapter of this book. It was not what I was expecting. The shear heartbreak these two shared was soo emotional. This was one of her best series that just flowed from one book to the next and just kept getting better and better. (on a side not [...]

Wow Natches and Chaya's book was great! So much better than the previous book. I was so hooked on Natches from the other book and was really looking forward to reading it. I wasn't disappointed at all. This book was so full of emotions. I mean the beginning blew me away and I was completely shocked at what was going on. Chaya in the other book I didn't really like her. But reading her story and what happened to her , I changed my mind.Wow. Those two were so wonderful together and they were what [...]

My favorite of the series so far. I loved the back story with Natches and Chaya. Can't wait for the next 2 books, they seem to get better and better. I read the first book for a reading challenge and I'm glad I did. I'm definitely a Lora Leigh fan now!

Well no menage a trois in this Lora Leigh book. Just two tortured souls who finally find their way to each other. Lots of suspense and danger and of course hot loving.

Several years ago Natches MacKay rescued an undercover agent from the hands of the enemy. The attraction between them was huge even though Chaya Dane was seriously wounded. But Chaya disappears without a trace before Natches could convince her to give him a chance. Now Chaya shows up in his town during an investigation and all the attraction he was feeling back then are flowing back to life. Natches is determined to find out why she’s back in his life and figure out a way to keep her in once a [...]

So intense the words set the pages on fire! There are only a few people Natches Mackay considers family and "Daddy" ain't one of them, but that's not keeping his sperm donor from making his life miserable in ways that are worse than anything in the past. Now Natches is being drawn into an intrigue that involves not only his family, but the woman he shares some rather brutal history with- the one woman who means more to him than his own life. Now he just has to make her understand that that is whe [...]

Well, despite me not liking Natches very much in the first story I really loved him in his own book. He turned out to be a much better character than what was first written in Nauti Boy. His love and devotion to Chaya was very sweet. His attitude in the first two books was explained (although it felt like a bit of a stretch since I felt his attitude was really crappy in the first book). However, there was so much more to his character and person and I grew to like him. There definitely was more [...]

MUCH better than the previous 2 books, especially the last book. I guess it really was just the hero that irritated me so much in Nauti Nights. Natches was more down to earth but still had that aura of alpha male and dangerous male. But he pulled it off so much better. He didn't need to blackmail his woman into being with me, nor did he shout out "mine" every 5 seconds during sex scenes. He instead had a cold demeanor that was warmed up only by Chaya. I also really liked Chaya, and I loved how s [...]

#3 Nauti Trilogy - now a series, with #4 Nauti Intentions due out in April 2009 (woot!)Natches and Chaya's story is more intense with suspense than the first two, as LL expands her missle plot investigation story line. The romance between the two is intense, heartwrenching, romantic and big surprise -- sexy *g*. But isn't Lora Leigh always a sexy author! This book is "grittier" than the first two, as far as hard to read Iraq war details (torture), details about Natches's childhood abuse, and cre [...]

I love so much of Lora Leigh, but I hated the first book in this series, and was lukewarm about the second. This book was the last chance for the lovable rednecks of Somerset County. Turns out that the third time is the charm, no question. This book has a strong, smart, independent female lead who knows who she is. She does not allow some big scary man to run roughshod over her. And both these characters are damaged, for real reasons, and they care about healing one another and want to learn how [...]

I’ve heard several people say that they liked this one the least from the original trilogy. I’m actually just the opposite. Who knew that Natches (stupidest named of the group) would be the most considerate redneck of the bunch. He never blackmailed anyone into having sex with him. He never kidnapped his woman. He was almost respectful. Maybe I liked this one the best as the heroine actually had a backbone. I doubt I’ll be continuing the series. 2.5/5

I have been looking forward to reading this book as Nachie is my favourite of the cousins. I was not disappointed either. The story was warm and although you knew where it was heading it kept the suspense and intrigue going. the ending had me shedding a few tears.

I originally started reading this series in 2010 and fell in love with these men. Now I've reread them and I'm still just as in love as I was then. This is the third book and my very favorite. Natches is so so sexy. He's moody and dark and so very yummy!

To me this one wasn't as strong or exciting as the first two books. But the ending made up for it. I loved it. The ending actually made me cry this time. Now I can't wait to read the next book.

Family firstLoved that this book is about family than anything else. Natches and his family (however it is defined) is a testament to what love truly means. Great read.

Chaya and NatchesNatches - left out as the other 2 cousins found their loves he blusters a bit about being left out, but he hasn't been with a woman since his discharge from the Marines he has his repair shop, his houseboat (Nauti Dreams) and their friendships, but there is a layer of ice that is distancing him from themChaya - Marine intelligence since boot camp, interrogation specialist married to a man who ends up to be a traitor and had a 3-year old daughter her husband 'sold her out', and s [...]
