This is my first review on and I couldn't have chosen a better book to review.I first read an abridged version of this book for young adults titled "Toddy" when I was a little girl. Its heart-touching sweetness and simplicity almost immediately made it one of my favorites, and along with its companion novels "Laurel" and "Kit," is often thought of in fond remembrance by my sister and I, and is inextricably linked with our childhood.I'd been searching for an unabridged version for years, when I [...]

I love orphan train stories. Not all of the orphans found good homes, others did. This story, Toddy found a good home and loving people. She had a few bumps along the way very sweet story.

This is three books in one, HOmeward the Seeking Heart, Quest for Lasting Love and Dreams of a Longing Heart. I think it might be YA/inspirational.

homeward the seeking heart My kind of book ,what joy to sit and be able to read a good clean sweet book like this !! Hope to read many more like this !!

Really quite good. Didn't need drama or flash to keep be interested, which is really saying something. Fans of Anne of Green Gables would like it.

This was an okay book. Clean, no sex. But I didn't like the main character. She seemed to be very self-centered.
