I picked this up when free, and it came recommended from some respectable places. I'm not entirely sure what to say about it, but I'll do my best. It's a sequel, of sorts, but I was assured would be easily pick-up-able as a standalone book, and it is. It's a series of fictional review-cum-vignettes written by the population of a village of simpletons, each of whom believes themselves to be the smartest tool in a box of very blunt tools. The reviews are of items tenuously linked to each vignette, [...]

I read / listened to this book in audio format via audible. I love audio books and I find I can read and still get things done. The narrators also have a way of breathing life into the stories. Also audio books make great travel companions on those long road trips. So this is the best book yet. I laughed out loud so many times. My favorite review in this book was about "the Devil" chicken. The man padded his body up good with pillows and couch cushions to go see the chicken who attacked him the [...]

It was very funny in places, but started out pretty slow. I was expecting more as I found the first book unbelievably funny. Bit disappointed, but not a bad read.

A great sequel to the original. I thought these books were about products, but in reality, the books should titled reviews from an idiot village. When i started I expected to read about people having problems using prodicts incorrectly, not ignorant people all from the same village in England. I had to stop reading in bed after my wife went to sleep as in would laugh so hard that i would shjake the bed and wake her up!

Read the first one in the series before reading this one. As a freebie, I found it to be rather fun. It is supposedly reviews of products on . The reviews tell the story of a village and its residents including Ethel the bag lady. The story does deal with chickens, gardening, and lords of the manor, but Downton Abbey it is not.And it doesn't take itself seriously.

I enjoyed this as much as the first book!Listening in on peoples lives 1 letter at a time!lol The narrator,Charles Dabbs was brilliant!

It is an okay book. Good if you want a book to laugh at. That is about all I can say about it.

Book #2 with this set of characters. Still a delightful way to tell a story, through lengthy reviews of products you can actually buy on the internet. Electric fence starter kit- who knew?
