It's 3 in the morning and I need to sleep but I can'tDamn this series was awesome!!!LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOOOOOVE IT!

WoahI'm speechlessThe ending of this serial is simplyautifulI laughed and cried and felt this story through my bonesWhat worries me now is only one thing: What now? I meanI finished reading Gringa books, and I love them and I want more! It's definitely in my top 10 favourite books! And I want MORE! I'm like,so happy that I got the happy ending for Payton and Diago but I'm also so freakin' SAD that its overI'm look at the books and I'm crying like a lil babyI will read all 4 books hundred times mo [...]

I actually started this series not thinking there would be much to it. Book 1 left some things to be desired, plot-wise, writing-wise and character-wise but it was already hooked enough that I had to see what happened in book 2. As the books went on, the story got better. The story was interesting throughout. The blurb is more for the whole series and not just one book. Nothing was resolved in books 1-3. The romance and FBI do come in book 2. Overall, I actually enjoyed the series, I read all of [...]

Last in series.Oh wow, the final book what can I say, the first time I read it I didn't like it so much, I know it was still the same bizarre story I'd been following with the same crazy characters but it wasn't going the way I wanted and I think I sulked a bit, I didn't like the ending or the last part of the book at all but this time after a two year break plus the fact that I already knew how it ended meant I enjoyed it a lot more and I'm so glad I got round to re-reading this series because [...]

09/19/2012Loved the series, fell in love with Diago and I'm so not happy with the end!Re-read on 03/02/2013I'm so happy with this new ending!!!! Love it, love it, love it!!! Eve Rabi has a talent to make you fall for the bad guys! Definitely Gringa is one of my favorites.

Okay. I want to review all four books in this series in one review since the entire story spans all four books. These are full books, not novellas, with each book a little longer than the last. However, no matter how many pages, the book reads quickly, because you can't put it down.Gringa- In the Clutches of a Ruthless Drug Lord is the story of Payton who, while on a family vacation in Mexico, is shot by Diablo, a ruthless drug lord. After he shoots her, he throws her off of a cliff and into the [...]

Are you searching for a book that could bring you inside it??Then I bet, it would be best to pick this upIt's so intense, that I couldn't bare hide my pain, and end up, eventually cryingThis series is truly a "One In A Million" that could keep your interest forever, that could give aches in you when you just have realized that you have just finished the series and the feelings seems like you've been there with the characters all the whileThe author never leaves the reader encountering only the l [...]

The bomb okay some major drama went down in this book but Omg was it good. Diago was put in situations that he never been in before. Love will do it to you. Gringa was like the sun to him. I laugh so hard in this series. They all was crazy. Diago favorite saying was "I'll farking kill you" or "I want to fark" man that was so funny, he didn't know is was called fucking kill u he kept saying farking kill u, he love her so much.

This book was a 2 star, but the overall series, 3. Wow. That was a really bad ending. And almost all the Spanish was grammatically incorrect :( And some of it was straight gibberish.Someone needs to learn how to conjugate verbs in Spanish.

I was reading this book at 3 am and I just couldn't put it down. The cover was somewhat deceiving. I thought it was just another story with an alpha hero. I never expected to cry while reading it. It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I love this book!

I really enjoyed this installment and the entire series! It was refreshing to read an abduction/kidnapping story that was not your typical, predictable Stockholm Syndrome situation! At the conclusion of book 3, the pressure the FBI had on Payton was palpable! I had no idea how she’d resolve her conundrum and fortunately, what happens is anything but predictable! Rabi does a phenomenal job of evoking emotions. With so much happening in this final installment, I felt like a rode a roller coaster [...]

THIS REVIEW ENCOMPASSES THE ENTIRE SERIES. FOUR AND A HALF STARS. SPOILERS BELOW. BE WARNEDEver find yourself perusing the Kindle Store in the middle of the night?I found myself doing this very thing last night and what I stumbled on was more than I could have ever imagined! This review is for the entire 4 part series but right now, is offering it as a free title, click here to get your copy. Now, if the title doesn't throw you off, the cover surely will. Wasn't sure what to expect but I really [...]

I dont even know where to begin lol.is whole story was just wow! first let me sayover all even after my initial gasps of outrage I enjoyed the dang series lolh just please forgive my erratic reviews hereonce you read the series from beginning to end (if you decide to go for it) you`ll understand why I am all over the place with itwas I annoyed about this book? oh HELLLLLLLLLLLL YES! the book redeemed itself in the endya start to think though by the second book that you must be demented to like t [...]

As I read others' reviews, I kept reading about how readers were confused about how they felt about this book. At first, I didn't understand. Now, I do.I'm also confused and not sure how to review this. I liked it enough, but the ending really, really disappointed me. I orignially thought that the mixed reviews was because of the rape element in the book. However, I don't think that's it.Gringa (or Payton) eventually comes to really love Diago, her captor. And if it were just Gringa and Diago, t [...]

The epic saga of Payton and Diablo reaches its dramatic conclusion with this final novel in the GRINGA series.Even though she swears more than an on-the-road trucker, Payton is one of my favorite characters from Eve Rabi's collection of novels. She says what's on her mind, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Payton will drink to excess, tell everyone else to f*** off, then go home to drink some more! It's been a rocky road for Payton and her rapist-abductor-tormentor-lover Diablo. Proving tha [...]

I’ve read all the books in the series, couldn’t put them downI’ve read all the books in the series, couldn’t put them down and this last book was the same. There’s not one emotion left unexplored in this final book. I can’t say why because it would be a spoiler but poignancy, despair, love, and joy feature. I was desperate for the ending to be happy. I had taken the sides of Gringa and Diago, and was fascinated by the roller coaster ride their lives were taking. I loved the way Diago [...]

1 1/2 starsPart 4 carries on in the same vein as part 3. Everything is over the top, nothing is believable, or plausible. Often the character's reactions seem to come out of left field and the only sense they make is as a means to move the "storyline" forward. There was so much potential for an original storyline with morally ambiguous, engaging, likable characters - if only the presentation were a bit more serious and reality based. So much happened in part 4, and kept happening and happening i [...]

Couldn't even finish the first book, the prose were so bad. Also the scenes were too fast-paced. There was no development: I hate my family, I am shot, Drug-Lord is going to shoot me again, I slap him, he suddenly wants me, etc . . . There is minimum thought process going on and little to no observation on Gringa's part of what other people are thinking. I had such high hopes for this book based on the reviews but I knew after about page 10 that this was not gold; the husband of the woman who to [...]

I am giving the entire Gringa series 5 stars. I read all books back to back and I couldn't put them down. It was a refreshingly nice change. I loved all the interesting characters and I loved Diablo/Diago! He was crazy. Payton was insane too. I'm not sure if she had a pair of steel balls or if she was stupid but those two sure we're entertaining. These books are a wild fast paced ride. There is never a boring moment. I highly recommend for readers who like crazy heroes and will do anything for t [...]

Warning - there are TWO very different endings to this last book, thankfully, I believe this latest one is the HEA one!! There would of been no way in hell that I would of even entertained the idea of reading the other after everything Diablo and peyton went through to then not get the HEA!!! Anyhoo, I really liked this story x only one real little gripe for me - needed more passion, too little smut xx
