Can you see it? This is the world of light. Everything becomes one in the light. I entered the light and found you This was a rare gem. A beautifully written historical romance. The struggle of finding your purpose in this life. What if you had every reason to fall into the darkness? Love is the only thing to drag you out from that hell and bring you to the light. This is a story about love, not just between the characters but about its place in the worlds ability to heal and give strength. The [...]

(Written on my Blog - February 15, 2007)I just finished volume 14. The last volume. I was a little melancholy afterwards, sort of how you get after a long vacation. Sad to be going, glad you went, happy to have a conclusion. After 12 long years of writing, the series is over. The author/illustrator mentions this in one of her many sidebars. She says that people were always writing/emailing her because they want to know when the next installment was coming out, and she felt so awful that she coul [...]

#Program BUBUPertama kali dibeli dan dibaca pada tanggal 12 November 2003.Wow, jilid terakhir terjemahan Elex ini terbit lebih dari 10 tahun lalu! Tapi aku masih suka manga ini. Love it, actually.

Overall Series review 3 Stars. I probably should have left it after book 7, because there is a sort of ending there with Noriko and Izark leaving their (first set of) friends behind but I did want to see what the conclusion was. The second half of From Far Away (books 8-14) is weaker in my opinion but I do like Noriko as a character, she’s endearing, and there are parts that I enjoyed.

It was such a nice ending. It would have been nice see lovely little kids running around. But it was still a lovely way to wrap things up.

From the very beginning this manga has pique my interest, I like reading historical fiction such as this one. I wouldn't compare this with The Queen's Knight and Anatolia Story where both heroines came from the future and have contributed a great with the new world they're in. they all have different strength on how to reach their readers heart. Of course, it has a lot of feels and drama as well. I like how the female lead overcome the situation by adapting and trying to learn over the culture i [...]

The big finale. Noriko finally understands what the world of the light is, and is able to awaken Izark to it -- saving everyone. Evil is defeated Rachef gets a hug [that was weird]I liked the series, but the ending fell a bit flat of what I was expecting. I wanted a bigger realization -- or a bigger lead-up. There were a few things, like the moonstones which weren't really introduced until this volume. It seemed a bit late to be adding in extra "helpful" elements. As Izark is now awake to his pow [...]

Uhm, yeah, the ending was good but not as good as the rest of the series. It was too positive for my liking. Everything becomes good and evil is forgotten. Apart from that, this was a very good series. I'm glad I've bought it. It's funny 'cause I got a lot of second-hand ex-library copy and every one comes from a different place. Most of them are in a very good condition so I can't complain.I really like the protagonists, both Noriko and Izark. Noriko because she plays an active role in the plot [...]

This was the last book in the series. I was kind of sad to see it end. I read the whole series in just a matter of a few days. I entered another world along with Noriko. I also developed a HUGE crush on Izark. He is my ideal man now and I'm pretty sure he will be impossible to measure up to. I wasn't crazy about Noriko in the beginning, but I loved the way her character developed, and I grew to love her as well. The way Noriko and Izark's group of companions accepted them and protected them was h [...]

Lately I’ve been going through withdrawals. I finished reading the whole series in 3 days (14 volumes, people. 14 bloody volumes) and my heart hurts when I remember Izark and noriko and how cute they are together and how adorable noriko is. I went on mangafox and read the comments that people wrote about it and how they are all saying that they have been rereading it because they love it and I realized it’s okay to feel that way too. It’s okay to reread the manga 10000000 times. It’s oka [...]

I'm just adding the last volume in the series in my sincewell, it will clutter up my list.I consider the entire series as one story, as one book.I like Kanata Kara but it felt like there was something missing, trying. It is not as heavy as other manga I've read recently nor was it a rollercoaster of feelings like Basara did to me.I guess after reading Basara and Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori, I've been having high expectations for manga that wanted to be high on adventure, fantasy and whatnot. Bu [...]

This review goes for the whole series, instead of just this volume.Kanata Kara is the first story about time-travel that hooks me up on these kind of themes, because it is just so awesome. The romance is not senseless, the conflicts are intense and significant, plus its character development and pace are excellent. The ending is perfect too! I always feel insufficient to review Kanata Kara (or any other series by Kyoko Hikawa-sensei), so there's nothing else I can say but: read this! I guarantee [...]

I read this whole serice less then a month after finding the 1st book. it was amazing and so cutie!!!! i love the main charaters, they seem to grow as you read the stoyies. I even got some of my friends that don't like manga to read them. and they love the books too!The ending is kind of open ended but you know that Izark and Noriko are together and happy. also that true there still might have some difucultys in life for them, but that is life.

I read the entire series, but rather then add them all to my list I just did the last one. ;)I loved this series so much!!!!!! ^_^ It had the right amount of action even though it was Shoujo and your really fall in love with the characters as you read. ^_^ Also, the author is really funny; he inserts random comics about his life in it and it makes a nice comic relief. ^_^

End of this superb manga series. Noriko being captured by the most villain character in this series. Izark that noticed Noriko had been kidnapped, panicked and tried to find her. He got a fight with Keimos. In this book Noriko realized her power and the reason why she was transferred to that world. EPIC!

I really enjoyed this series throught all 14 volumes (though 7 was my favorite). The artwork was lovley, the hero very dashing but sweet, the the herorine very determined and couragous by the end of the series.A great series for anyone who enjoys epic fantasy shojo mangas like Red River or Miriam.

I just finished reading this series and I got to say I loved it. The main characters romance was portrayed well It didn't either progress too fast or too slow but in a steady pace. I loved the characters as well because it wasn't like other characters that change personality so quick that it seems they are other people. Although I wanted a cuter romance, I was happy the way it ended.

Was pretty good. The only negative I have for this volume without nit picking too much is that I felt it was rushed too much when it came to finalizing what happened to everyone. I think another volume or two would have ended this series nicely.

Vol. 14 wraps up the series nicely, though once again it's hard to tell the minor characters apart because their designs are so similar. I thought in certain scenes even Izark was difficult to distinguish from Rachef or Keimos.
